We’re Recruiting: Young People’s Project Counsellor

Are you passionate about supporting young people with their mental health and wellbeing? 💙

Washington Mind is looking for a qualified Counsellor to join our Young People’s Project, providing solution-focused counselling for young people.

This rewarding role involves:

✅ Delivering one-to-one counselling sessions

✅ Carrying out triage appointments and making onward referrals where needed

✅ Working closely with partner agencies

✅ Maintaining high ethical standards in line with the BACP Ethical Framework

✅ Promoting wellbeing through practice that values diversity and supports positive outcomes for young people

We’re looking for someone who values inclusion, respects diversity, enjoys working collaboratively, and is committed to helping young people access the right support at the right time.

⏰ Hours: 24 (or negotiable)
📅 Closing date: 12/08/2026
📅 Interviews: Week commencing 17/08/2026
