A Community Remembrance Display at The Life House
Here at Washington Mind we are working with out craft groups and communities to create a poppy display for Remembrance Day 2024, and we’re looking for your help and support! We are looking for donations of handmade (knitted or crocheted) purple and red poppies.
Click here to download the patterns which are available for knitting and crocheting. Please note that the patterns do suggest using a black button as the centre of the poppy, however we are asking that you make them using wool/yarn as this will enable us to attach them to our display.
Donations can be dropped off at The Life House, Grasmere Terrace, Columbia, Washington, NE387LP Mondays to Thursdays 9am to 4pm and Fridays 9am to 12pm (or posted to us!), all poppies are greatly appreciated.
