Interested in volunteering with us?
This year, Volunteer’s Week is running from 2nd to 8th June 2025 and to celebrate we are inviting our current volunteers, and anyone interested in joining our volunteer team to The Life House! Our current volunteering opportunities include:
- Social Support Group Volunteers
Helping to facilitate our social support groups - Driving volunteers
Driving our van to collect food donations - Café Life volunteers
Helping to run our Café Life including cooking food and serving customers - Gardening volunteers
Helping our service users to complete gardening activities - Event volunteers
Managing stall at community events to raise awareness of our service - Trustees
Helping to run the charity and ensure it is meeting its aims and objectives.
If you’re interested in one (or more!) of these roles, please fill in an application form (you can find our form on the bottom of our volunteering page – click here to visit the page now!) and bring it along to The Life House on 2nd June between 10am and 12pm where you will be able to enjoy a cuppa and some cake and speak about the role you’re interested in with our current volunteers, we’ll also have staff on hand to talk through your application and the process of joining the team.
