Festive Season 2023 at Washington Mind
As we fast-approach the festive period of 2023, we wanted to share what we have coming up with you, as well as our opening times and where you can access support when we’re closed.
Please note Washington Mind and our phone lines will close at 12pm on Friday 22nd December 2023 for the Christmas period. We will reopen for business as usual at 9am on Thursday 4th January 2024. We will be open during these times for our Service User Christmas Party on Thursday 28th December 2023 from 11am to 1pm. Where to access support when we’re closed
If you need emotional support while we are closed these organisations are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year:
- The Samaritans if you are aged 16+ and would like confidential support. They are available on Freephone: 116 123
- Childline if you are aged 18 and under and would like confidential support. They are available on: 08001111 and through their website: childline.org.uk
- Shout Crisis Text Line is also available if you are looking for support, you can text: 85258 for support.
If you feel that you need immediate support and can’t keep yourself safe, these organisations are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year:
- You can visit your local Accident and Emergency department or call: 999
- For immediate support, please contact the Initial Response Service, those aged 16+ can all Freephone: 0800 652 2867 and those aged under 16 can call Freephone: 0800 652 2868.
