TSTWTAAT © online training is an additional option and is not intended to replace face to face delivery of the TSTWTAAT © course. Washington Mind have developed the TSTWTAAT © online course so that this much needed training can be delivered in adherence to the Government directive of social distancing during the Covid 19 pandemic.
The course will cover:
A warm welcome to the course and an introduction to your trainers for the session.
An introduction to the methods of delivery for the course content
Creating a safe and supportive on-line learning environment
The course will cover an increased understanding of the impact of grief upon families, friends and communities.
The course will cover attitudes that are often associated with grief, grieving and talking about grief whilst looking to build alternative ways of understanding.
The course will introduce a discussion and exploration of the Continuing Bonds model of grief and the use of narratives.
The course will provide information on local support services.
The course will explore how to utilise Continuing Bonds whilst having a supportive conversation.
The course will explore self-care.
Included in the email confirming your place on the training you will receive a work book (to be printed prior to the start of the course) to be used within the training session, a group agreement and an evaluation form that is to be completed and returned to Washington Mind.
