Are you looking to join a new group to improve your mental health and wellbeing?
Here at Washington Mind, we have a group which offer taster activities every week to give you an idea of what you would like to be involved in. This group is aimed at people who are looking to improve their mental health and wellbeing and who may not be ready to take part in our larger groups.
The theme of this group changed every 6-8 weeks. Examples of past themed crafts have been; clay, jewellery, sewing and more.

Every Tuesday from 11am-1pm, Washington Mind visit Bryson’s Animal Shelter, Hateshead to walk the dogs and/or cuddle with the cats. Both exercise and spending time with animals has been shown to improve wellbeing so get in touch with us today if you are interested in joining us!
Please note that you must make a referral into Washington Mind’s services before you can attend the group and you need to be able to make your own way to Bryson’s Animal Shelter. Please get in touch if you would like us to send you a map or public transport details on how to travel to the shelter.
Washington Mind’s LGBTQI youth group (Rainbow Renegades) takes place weekly and is suitable for young people aged 13-25. Please join us on Tuesday evenings if you would like to be part of the group.
